I imagine many of you have been waiting for this site with great anticipation (as have I), and I’m hoping even more of you are stumbling onto it through word of mouth or a site search. Regardless, we’re glad you’re here and hope you find enough reason to come back again.
 
We’re still something of a work in progress at NoisyWhisper, and perhaps always will be as we continue to improve over time and deliver a site that offers quality content and user-friendly interactivity.
 
For now we’re primarily geared toward covering music and commenting on culture. In time, you can expect us to broaden our coverage to include film, TV, books, and more on a regular basis. Expect new album reviews on a regular basis. You can always browse our reviews section to find the latest. We’ve also categorized them by star rating, in case you only want to read up on the good ones (or commiserate over the bad ones). Be sure to check out the snazzy Amazon player at the end of most of the reviews too, so you can listen to song clips yourself. And if you like what you hear, please consider purchasing the song downloads or albums through our affiliates at Amazon and Christianbook—every little sale helps keep our operation afloat.
 
Some fans have been asking for Best Album lists. We promise you’ll be seeing those soon, starting with 2009 and then celebrating the last decade in the months ahead.
 
Commentaries will also become more regular, kicking off with coverage of the 2010 season of American Idol. Other topics and musings will follow in time; fans who enjoyed Russ Breimeier’s newsletters at Christianity Today may want to keep tabs on these columns.
 
Speaking of newsletters, you’ll want to be sure to register at our site if you’d like to interact. It’s the only way you’ll be able to post comments in response to the various articles.
